I wash my car in the driveway in front of my residence, what are the effects to the environment?
Answer: Water and soap run off your vehicle, into storm drains, and eventually into rivers, streams, creeks, and wetlands where it disturbs and damages the ecosystem.
Does a commercial car wash facility treat waste water?
Answer: Yes, commercial car wash facilities drain their waste water into the sewer system, which is equipped with oil/water separators before being discharged into the sewage treatment facility.
I wash my vehicle at home, how much water am I using?
Answer: A report produced by the International Car Wash Association advised that, "washing a car at home typically uses between 80 to 140 gallons of water. In cases, whereby homeowners wash their vehicles without a nozzle, creates a high degree of water usage". At Go Wash, we use computer controlled systems, high pressure pumps, and nozzles that minimize water usage.
Can I bring my own bucket, soap, car washing/cleaning products, etc. to use at Go Wash?
Answer: No. We have all of the tools you need to wash and clean your vehicle at Go Wash! All of our products are environmentally safe, biodegradable, and free from heavy acids. Bringing your own products may cause damage to our facility/system.
Are you open 24/7?
Answer: Yes we are! We are open 24/7, 365 for your convenience.
I noticed the automatic bay doors are closed. Why is that?
Answer: We close the automatic bay doors when the temperatures drop. Not to worry - once payment is processed and wash type is selected, the doors will open, and you can proceed into the wash.
Do you have a car wash attendant on site to help with issues or answer questions?
Answer: Yes, we have a Go Wash attendant on-site Monday to Sunday. You can also reach out to us via email at info@gowash.ca.
What's this about a free wash on my birthday?
Answer: It's true! Show our Go Wash attendant your photo ID and receive a free automatic wash - on your actual birthday only. If an attendant happens to not be on site, bring your wash receipt from your birthday and we will give you a voucher in return.
